The abrasion resistance of nylon is much higher than all other textile fibers, 20 times higher than wool, and more than 10 times higher than cotton fibers, so it is often used in the production of carpets. Blending nylon with wool or viscose fiber can significantly improve the abrasion resistance of textile products.
